Depending on the faculty, the scholarship can vary between €۲,۰۰۰ – €۲۵,۰۰۰٫ The Amsterdam Merit Scholarship can sometimes be supplemented with the Holland Scholarship, of which the University of Amsterdam is a participating member.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must hold a non-EU/EEA passport and not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans and be fully admitted to a degree programme under an eligible faculty at the University of Amsterdam

Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. You can find the specific eligibility requirements, selection criteria and application instructions on the Faculty or Graduate School websites. Deadline for scholarship applications varies per Faculty but is around January to May ۲۰۱۷ when starting in September 2017.
